Hi, Krystal!
I’m so happy to hear you’re planning your first-ever visit to the Disneyland Resort! You’re going to love exploring the parks alongside your little ones.
The best thing about bringing children under the age of 3 is that they don’t need a theme park ticket! They also eat for free at all-you-can-enjoy dining experiences (including character meals) but can still enjoy many attractions, shows, parades and other experiences offered at the resort. There are several attractions both your kids can ride in the two theme parks. If there is no minimum height requirement or it is advertised as for “all ages,” then it’s safe for them to ride! Be sure to check out
Disney Junior—Live on Stage! featuring favorite characters from shows like
Doc McStuffins and
Mickey Mouse Clubhouse. If you have little girls, plan a visit to the new Fantasy Faire where Disney Princesses are waiting to meet and greet Guests all day.
My family has always brought along our own snacks and bottled waters to cut back on food costs. There are also meals created specifically for toddlers available at some restaurants that are very reasonably priced.
Bring your own stroller so you won’t have to rent one, and definitely take advantage of the Baby Care Centers. They provide full-size changing tables, high chairs, baby food prepping areas, private nursing rooms, and even tot-sized toilets.
I hope this helps, Krystal, and that you have a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to “The Happiest Place on Earth!” Please feel free to ask me any other questions as you continue to plan.
Wishing you magic,
Courtney
