    Hi there! We're going on our first ever Disney Cruise in January! So excited! We were wondering what movies will be playing on our cruise (January 4th on the Magic). Thanks so much!

    Hi there, Stephanie!

    Ahoy and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am so excited for you and your upcoming adventure at sea with my favorite Captain, Captain Mickey!!  You are going to have the most MAGICal vacation ever and make some of the most special memories while at sea!  My family’s first Disney Cruise Line vacation was onboard the classic Disney Magic and we still find ourselves seeking out new itineraries to explore on the Disney Magic.

    If you were to ask my husband what one of his favorite things about a Disney Cruise Line vacation, he would definitely say that getting the chance to catch up on first-run movies in the Buena Vista Theatre while onboard is at the top of his list!  We find it harder and harder to get to the movies at home, so we love getting the opportunity to see a variety of new releases while onboard!  I checked with a Cast Member and while entertainment is always subject to change, the following movies may be showing during your voyage:

    Ralph Breaks the Internet
    Captain Marvel
    Dumbo (Live Action)
    Disneynature: Penguins
    Avengers: Endgame
    Aladdin (Live Action)
    Toy Story 4
    The Lion King
    Frozen 2
    Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker

    When you arrive at the port for embarkation, you will receive a Voyage Navigator that will include a printed movie marquee with what movies are being shown each day and you will also be able to find that information on the Navigator app.
