We are going on our first ever cruise! It was kind of a last minute decision and we leave on oct 4 on disney dream. Never being on a cruise, I don't understand the categories. What do they mean? What do you think is the best deck to stay on? Thanks!

    Hey Jennifer!

Congratulations on your first ever cruise!  Your last minute decision is one you'll never regret, especially because you chose the extraordinary Disney Cruise Line to sail with!

Explaining categories is a little tricky, so I'll leave it to the cruise line to explain.  Please check out DCL's Stateroom Category Differences for a detailed explanation to your question.

Please let me know if I can help you with anything else.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage Jennifer!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
