Hi we are going on our first dw vacation.in feb. our dd will be 4 and half at that time..we will hopefully get to do most kiddie rides..but i wanted to look into going on a couple of bigger rides with her.. what would you suggest for us to try at her age

Congratulations on your first trip, Melanie!  If your family is anything like ours it is just the first of many.  Four-and-a-half is an absolutely magical age for your daughter's first trip.  She will likely be enamored with Fantasyland at Magic Kingdom.  When it comes to other attractions to attempt to experience, you can certainly rule some out before even leaving home.  This handy CHART lists height requirements for various attractions around Walt Disney World.  You can measure your daughter at home and get a fairly accurate idea of which attractions she does and doesn't measure up for.  Hopefully, that will aid in your planning.  Have a great time!

Meet the Panelist: Darcie, Alabama

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
