First dw vacation in Dec with 2 adults,2 child. We will probably not do many of the rides and no character dinners as our boys don't want to. Would we be better with pass or plus. We are from Aust so will only visit once.

    Hi Natalie,

You will have such a wonderful visit to Walt Disney World.  I want you to be sure you are making your Advanced Dining Reservations that can be done 180 days before your vacation begins.  This way you will be able to have the restaurants that you wish as well as the times you would like to go.  December is such a magical time to visit, however, it can be very busy so it is good to plan ahead.  I am assuming that your question is referring to PhotoPass or PhotoPass Plus card.  If it is not, please forgive me and send me the correct question.  If you are really not going to do many attractions or character meals, it would be more cost effective to obtain a PhotoPass card versus the Plus version.  You will be able to have all of your PhotoPass photos that were taken during your vacation on a CD for you to remember all the wonderful moments.  The PhotoPass Plus Card expires 14 days after you obtain it and will really save you some money if you are riding attractions that take your picture such as Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, Rock 'n Roller Coaster, Expedition Everest, and Dinosaur.  You can always pre-purchase the PhotoPass Card and upgrade to PhotoPass Plus once you arrive if you change your mind.  I know your holiday will be fantastic.
