Dream; full boat; sailing in water

    We are going on our first DVC members cruise to the Mediterranean in May. Are we able to go ashore in any port without booking an excursion? All excursions are sold out for the last port. We don’t want to stay on ship. Are there water taxis available?

    Sailing the seas with Disney Cruise Line is such a fantastic experience, you are going to have a fabulous time on the 2024 Disney Vacation Club Member Cruise! I recently sailed on the Disney Dream with the rest of my planDisney class in December for our training and I can't wait until the next time I can sail on one of Disney Cruise Line's ships. The entertainment was top-notch, the food was delicious and the service was incredible.

    I snuck a peek at the ports of call for the Member Cruise in the Mediterranean and wow - the itinerary looks incredible! While exploring the ports on excursions is fun, touring on your own is wonderful too. There's something to be said about discovering a new place! I checked with a Cast Member at Disney Cruise Line and he assured me that Guests may disembark and seek adventure in the port without booking an excursion. If the port of call is a tender port, tender boats will be available to transport Guests from the ship to shore.
