Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Cindy!
Your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation is right around the corner, and I’m sure you’re excited! It sounds like you have a great plan already laid out. While you can’t go wrong with more than one day in any of the
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Parks, I would recommend spending that seventh day at either
Epcot or
Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
If you have a
Star Wars fan in your Party, you have to check out the newly-opened
Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge. My family and I only spent about four hours in the area on our first visit and about three on our second, and we still haven’t experienced everything. While advanced reservations are highly recommended for
Savi’s Workshop - Handbuilt Lightsabers, the
Droid Depot and
Oga’s Cantina, there’s a ton to do without experiencing these. Combined with attractions and shows in the rest of Disney’s Hollywood Studios (including two nighttime spectaculars:
Fantasmic! and
Star Wars: A Galactic Spectacular), there are a ton of options for spending multiple days here.
My other suggestion, though, would be Epcot. Since you’re arriving soon, your visit will include the
Epcot International Food & Wine Festival where you can drink and eat your way around the world and enjoy all of Epcot's other attractions. This will also be your last opportunity to experience
IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth before it ends on September 30. Additionally, you can check out the
Eat to the Beat Concert Series to see which musicians will be playing during your visit. Admission to the Concert Series is included with your Epcot admission!
Since you’re within 30 days of your arrival, I would also strongly encourage you to go ahead and make your
FastPass+ reservations for each of your Theme Park days. You receive three complimentary FastPasses per park per day (with the ability to book more one at a time (based on availability) after you use your initial three). You can make your selections via your My Disney Experience account online or through the
My Disney Experience mobile app.
I hope you have an awesome visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Cindy! Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you plan.
