Our first Disney Visit. My son's wish this year was to Meet Darth Vader we are booked to visit Oct 4-Oct 8. But as I look the Meet Darth Vader Experience has no times after Oct 3. Is Darth Vader leaving Hollywood Studios? Say it ain't so!

    Hiya, Kacie! Welcome to planDisney!

Or maybe since we’re talking about exploring a galaxy far, far away, I should say “Bright Suns” like the residents of Batuu. Either way, thanks for sharing your question with us. I’m sure you and your Padawan are super excited to start your magical vacation.

While the Darth Vader character experience has recently moved to the Star Tours area of Hollywood Studios, I don’t see any public announcements that he will no longer be meeting guests. While it’s possible that this experience is being paused (attraction schedules and availability are always subject to change), my guess is that Lord Vader’s schedule has yet to be updated. Keep checking back, either on the web or through the My Disney Experience app, and hopefully it will be updated soon.

There is so much to see and do at Hollywood Studios and Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge; I’m sure you are going to have an amazing first visit. My family built custom droids at the Droid Depot during our last visit, and it was a really fun experience. I’d also suggest sampling the local cuisine on Batuu, like the wraps at Ronto Roasters and Cold Brew Black Caf at Kat Saka's Kettle. I think they’re some of the best snacks in the whole park.

Kacie, I hope this info is helpful. Don’t hesitate to come back if you have more vacation planning questions. You’re as welcome as can be at planDisney!

Magical travels and may the Force be with you!
