Our first Disney Vacation is at the beginning of March. I will be close to my third trimester (had to reschedule our earlier trip because of the surprise/blessing of pregnancy), our sons' are age 5 and 2 1/2. What are must-haves in packing? Any other tips?

Hello and thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Congratulations on your pregnancy! What a wonderful surprise and how fun to be planning your first Walt Disney World vacation! I have been to Walt Disney World many times while pregnant. I have to say that my 2nd trimester trip was the easiest for me.

The beginning of March still has mild weather, so I suggest packing layers. It can get warm during the day but still a little chilly in the evenings and early mornings. I also like to pack a variety of shoes to alternate such as sneakers for the morning, flip flops in the evening in case my feet swell. Or pack the shoes you are most comfortable wearing while pregnant.

I recommend talking to your physician about the attractions you would like to ride. I rode everything I wanted to, but I am not a thrill ride lover, so it was easy for me to stay away from those. Every woman is different, so please talk to your doctor about your specific needs. Also don't forget to pack any vitamins or medicines you may be taking.

Hydrate! Make sure your drink plenty of water. Even if it is not sweltering hot outside, it's important to drink those fluids. You can always ask for a complimentary cup of ice water at any quick-service dining location.

Slow it down. I recommend taking things at a leisurely pace. Since your children are young, they probably have a somewhat early bedtime. Take advantage of it, and don't try to push yourself too hard. Just like toddlers need breaks and naps, so do pregnant women.

If you do forget to pack something like sunscreen or a jacket, the gift shops will have you covered! If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask me. I have truly loved all of my Disney vacations while pregnant. I'll be honest. I used the "eating for two" excuse a lot. Hey, I deserved double the snacks!

I hope you and your family have a magical, fantastical vacation!
