We are going on our first Disney vacation this August and we have the deluxe dining plan. I know gratuity is not include with the plan so do we have to carry cash now for tipping or can we use our "pass" and have it charged to the room?

    Hi Jill,

    I like your name!

You are certainly permitted to charge your restaurant gratuities to your room using your Key to the World card.  We have done that many times and it saves us having to carry around an excess of cash through the theme parks. We also like this option because it generates a comprehensive list of where we spent our money while on vacation.  This print-out will be available at the Disney resort where you'll be staying on the day you check out.

Wishing you a magical vacation this August!

Jill (See? Now you know why I like your name.)
