First Disney trip is only one week away!!!! We are so excited!!! I was wondering about where you get the first Disney trip pins? and what that involves? Also, since my kids are 15 and 12 do you think we will need the misting fans? thanks!!!

    Hi Colleen,

How exciting! Your trip will be here before you know it!

You can pick up the 1st Visit button at any Guest Relations counter in the parks. In addition, you can often get one right at your front desk at check in. See this link HERE. You'll see the "Celebration Recognition Buttons" (the 1st Visit one is yellow).

I would budget for the misting fans. It's really a matter of preference as to whether they'll want one or not. I always see a lot of young teenagers using them at Disney World. When my oldest was 12 she insisted on a misting fan. In fact, she begged for one. I found it to be worth every penny, since she never complained about the Florida heat again after that. ;)

Wishing you a magical first Disney vacation,

    Kaylene
