Hi Erica!
Welcome to planDisney! I'm so happy you stopped by! I'm excited you have decided to start planning for your very first Walt Disney World trip! I still think back to my first time walking into the
Magic Kingdom and the excitement I felt strolling down Main Street, U.S.A. toward Cinderella Castle. It's a magical feeling!
I know planning your first trip can feel overwhelming at first. There is a lot that goes into booking your stay, including choosing a Disney Resorts Hotel, deciding on a ticket package, and any additional add-ons that you want to include. The first thing you should do is visit the
Walt Disney World website and familiarize yourself with all of the offerings. You can look into all of the Disney Resorts Hotels available as well as each of the theme parks onsite. You can search through the countless dining locations that you may want to eat at and some of the
Enchanting Extras that are currently being offered. This will give you an idea of things you are interested in when it comes time to book your trip.
Erica, with this being your first trip, I recommend finding an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner to work with to book your stay. These individuals are highly qualified and can work with you to create a magical Walt Disney World vacation. They will be able to book your vacation package, which includes your Disney Resorts Hotel and ticket package, as well as airfare and transportation. They can also help you with making
dining reservations 60 days in advance of your stay. You'll be able to communicate with them by email or phone to bounce ideas back and forth. To find one to work with, simply perform a Google search for an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. A host of options will appear and you can choose the one that works best for you. The best part about using their services is there is no extra cost to you. You'll pay the same amount for your trip as if you booked it yourself.
I hope this information helps you plan for your upcoming visit, Erica!
