First Disney Trip! I'm wanting to arrive a day early for my booking at DW. Does anyone know if we stayed at the Hyatt at Orlando hotel - could we take the Magic Express Shuttle to our Resort the NEXT day?

Hi, Jolee! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks so much for stopping by with your question. While I do love to ride under the arches of the Walt Disney World Resort gates as soon as possible, I can certainly appreciate the convenience that the Hyatt Regency Orlando International Airport hotel provides! I have several friends who have stayed there after late flights into Orlando. It has allowed them to get some needed rest before hopping aboard Disney's Magical Express the next morning and beginning their magical adventures.

All guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel are entitled to a ride on Disney's Magical Express to Orlando International Airport on the day of their resort check-in and check-out. I spoke with a fantastic Cast Member recently who recommended that the best way to set this up is to give them a call at (866) 599-0951. You can provide them the time you would like to leave the airport and they can reserve your family spots on the motorcoach that will be running to your resort at the closest available time.

On the day you fly to Orlando, be sure to not affix the yellow Disney's Magical Express tags to your luggage. Instead, head to the luggage carousel and claim your bags before heading to the hotel. The next morning, you can either check your luggage at the Disney's Magical Express counter and have them sent to your resort, or you can carry them to the motorcoach with you. The driver will assist you in storing them underneath the motorcoach.

I hope this information helps you plan for a magical arrival! Please let us know if you have any other questions!
