First Disney trip ever!!!! Going Oct 18-20? Anyone know of any secret deals or any advise for a "first timer"?

Hi Lorraine - Congratulations on planning your first trip!  How exciting!

You should definitely pick up a first visit button at guest services or at your resort, and wear it with pride!  You can get the buttons free of charge.  You should also read one or two guidebooks so that you can prepare for your trip.  Two of my favorites for first-timers are the Complete Idiot's Guide to Walt Disney World and The Passporter.

If you have a smart phone, you may want to download one or two of the Disney apps - my favorites are the Lines app and the Disney Mobile Magic app, but there are lots of other ones too.

If you haven't yet made dining reservations, definitely do that in advance.  The best restaurants book up well in advance.

Hope that helps!  Have a great vacation!
