    I want to do my first 5 k Disney race. I'm thinking about Mickey's Jingle Jungle 2016 or Princess 5 k 2017. Pros and cons of each one? Need to choose one.

    The runDisney 5K races are always so much fun...it's hard to choose!

    The two 5K races you mentioned have very different feels to them.  Mickey's Jingle Jungle 5K has a festive holiday feeling and runs through Disney's Animal Kingdom park.  It's one of my favorites because it kicks off the Christmas season for me.  

    Of course, the Disney Princess 5K feels very "royal"!  This course takes you through Epcot, which is my favorite park, so I love it for that reason. 

    I think you should decide which time of year is easier for you to travel, and which type of race you are looking for.  If you're looking for a Princess/Girlie theme, then choose Princess.  If you think you would like to see more traditional Disney characters on the course and if you LOVE the holidays, then choose the Jingle Jungle.
