Ahoy Caryn –
We are so happy to see you here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and congratulations on your first Disney cruise! My family had the opportunity to sail on the Dream last month, and we had a truly unforgettable vacation that was fun for everyone. Your tiger cubs will love their time in the Youth Clubs onboard! Your 4-year-old will be able to enjoy the
Oceaneer Club while your 2-year-old toddler experiences fun times in the nursery. The Oceaneer Club is for children aged 3-12 who are fully potty-trained. There are special youth counselors to keep your children entertained and help them have the vacation of a lifetime.
It’s a Small World Nursery is for infants and toddlers aged 6 months to 3 years and features a bright and open playroom. My young sea pup loved his time in the Nursery, but I admit that initially I was nervous to leave him there without his sister. The first time he fussed when I left him, but as I watched him behind the 2-way mirror (he could not see me) he quickly was distracted and entertained by the counselors. Later when I came to pick him up, he did not want to leave! Reservations are highly recommended for the Nursery, and there is a nominal fee to leave your tiger cub there. Apart from the secured childcare, there will be Open House activities daily in all of the Youth Clubs where both of your sea pups can play together with a parent present. Caryn, I hope you feel more comfortable with your child care options on the Dream, and if not, then please come back and see us again!
