Hi first disney cruiser 4/28/12. I have been trying to book a cabana at Castaway Cave and also trying to make dinner reserv which are also booked. Will this open up? kinda disappointed...

    Hi Jayne!

I'm so excited to hear that you are about to embark on your first Disney cruise!!!  I wish I could see your face when you arrive onboard!  The ships are gorgeous, and the service is top notch.  Get ready to be SPOILED!

In reference to your dinner reservations, don't worry.  When you arrive onboard, there will be an area that is set up for Guests to make or change their dining reservations for the adults only restaurants.  I'm sure that you'll be able to book at least one dinner.  They really try their best to fit everyone who requests a seating.  Palo is my favorite restaurant, and you will really enjoy it.  Don't forget to order the chocolate souffle and the panna cotta for dessert.  They are GLORIOUS!

Now, I don't have the best news for the cabanas on Castaway Cay.  There is a very limited number available on the island, and they are reserved very quickly.  The only way for you to get one at this point is if there is a cancellation.  Please go to Guest Services when you arrive and inquire about the cabanas.  You may get lucky!

I hope this helps Jayne.  You are going to have a wonderful time on this trip.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Bon voyage!
