Were going on our first disney cruise and I have a 14 yr old daughter. Do we need to book/sign her up for the edge and vibe at the same time that we sign up for the other cruise activities such as port adventures and oceaneer club?

    Hello Maria Abigail,

Thanks so much for sailing by.  How exciting that your first Disney Cruise Line vacation is in sight!  Your daughter has the option, at 14, to spend time at Edge, Vibe or both! My youngest son was 14 on our last sailing, and did exactly this. By the end of the cruise he had made a giant group of new friends.   I recommend that you take advantage of the open houses that are scheduled on embarkation day, so that you can "check-out" both spots together.  There will be crew members there that will ensure she is set to have fun once the ship sets sail.  For a teen, you won't need to pre-register your daughter for the Youth Clubs in the same way parents of younger children register their little ones for the Oceaneer Club and Lab.

I hope you and your daughter have a magical vacation!
