First Disney Cruise + WDW week this fall! 1. Ashore at 730am means we can expect to get off the boat/be ready to head to WDW when? 2. How does the bus from port to WDW work? Do they only leave once full? throughout morning as we disembark?

    Welcome aboard, May!

Great to hear that your first Disney Cruise is coming up in the fall. You and your family are in for a treat - and you're well on your way to creating many magical moments that you'll remember for a long time. The combination of Land and Sea vacations are the best vacations. It'll feel like the magic never ends!

Your disembarkation day is still a day to enjoy on the cruise ship. Try to make time for a wonderful & bountiful breakfast at your restaurant rotation to kick off your day. You and the kids might have some sad faces as you say goodbye to your dedicated dining team, and when you bid 'see ya next time' to Captain Mickey & the rest of the crew. But hey, you've got more magic to enjoy at Disney World!

The ship normally gets cleared by US Customs at around 7:30am. Depending on when you have breakfast, you can either be the early seating at around 6:45am (if you had 1st dinner seating), or you could be the late seating at around 8am (if you had late dinner seating). Expect to see some lines as you exit the gangway. You'll be exiting the ship and clearing customs, then picking up your luggage at baggage claim. That might take about 30 minutes, sometimes longer depending on your timing. Adding the Disney Cruise Ground Transportation option to your cruise reservations makes it very convenient to travel from the Port to your Disney Resort. A cast member will be leading you to the motor coach pickup area right outside of the port exits. You'll be boarding the motor coach and your luggage will be loaded right underneath to travel with you. There are busses that leave the port continuously and DCL Transportation usually will have a roster of guests taking advantage of the motor coaches, to make sure everyone gets a ride.

I hope this helps. Let us know if you have any additional questions that we can help with. Have a magical vacation!
