We're going on our first Disney cruise in Sept, out of Galveston. I read about the Wave phones provided in each room. They said more phones can be purchased at an additional fee. What is the fee? Could my 10 year old use one of the phones?

    Ahoy Holly!

Congratulations on your first Disney cruise!  You are going to absolutely fall in love with the cruise line.  Be careful, though, cruising with Disney is very addicting.

The Wavephones are a fabulous service.  Your 10 year old can use the phones.  It's the same as any cordless phone in your home.  Be aware, however, that if a Wavephone is lost or broken, your stateroom account will be charged $250.  There are more phones available to rent when you arrive on the ship.  The cost would be $3.50 per day.

I hope this helps.  Please let me know if I can answer anything else for you.  Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel.  Wishing you a magical voyage!
