We are going on our first Disney Cruise on Nov 15th. I'm traveling with an infant who will need milk throughout the day. What is the best way for me to have/travel with milk while on the islands? Should I bring a small cooler or is there one availab

    Ahoy, Shatha!

    Thanks for your question!

You'll have no problem finding milk for your little one on the ship. Whole milk is available at the 24-hour beverage station, and you can also grab cartons of whole, skim, or 2% milk at the breakfast buffet. If you'd like to have milk on hand in your stateroom, 24-hour Room Service is available, and is included in the cost of your cruise.

The staterooms have small refrigerators, which are actually more like coolers. They don't get cold enough to store dairy products for extended amounts of time, so we usually request an ice bucket each evening to keep our milk cold. (We bring along gallon-sized bags to keep the cartons dry.)

Due to customs regulations, guests of Disney Cruise Line are not allowed to take food off the ship unless it is prepackaged and unopened. It should be fine for you to disembark with unopened cartons of milk in a small cooler bag for your baby. That being said, I encourage you to check with the Port Adventures staff to make sure you are following proper procedures prior to disembarking the ship.

I hope this helps! Have a magical day! - Diane W.
