We are going on our first Disney cruise next month (so exciting!). Do the boats participate in pin trading like the parks do? Thanks!

    Ahoy, Laura!

Let the countdown begin to your amazing Disney Cruise Line vacation! I'm sure you're over-the-top excited that you'll soon be sailing away with Captaoin Mickey and his crew. I still remember how excited we were for our first Disney Cruise, and I still get the same giddy feeling every time I step onboard.

On a Disney Cruise, you'll be amazed at all there is to see and do - including Pin Trading! It's easy to spot cast members wearing lanyards filled with pins walking around the ship, or you can trade with the nice folks working in the gift shops (they usually have special books or trays of pins behind the counter that they'll bring out for trading). I've seen lots of Disney Cruise Line pins that are exclusive to the Disney ships - so cool! Make sure to bring along your lanyard, or pick up a cute new one in one of the onboard shops.

On most sailings, there will be an Officer Pin Trading Event on at least one occasion - times and locations will be listed in your Personal Navigator (a daily schedule of events delivered to your stateroom). It's a great way to interact with the officers of the ship!

Pin Trading is a really fun way to bring home some unique souvenirs from your vacation. I hope this helps with your planning.

Have a magical day, and Bon Voyage! - Diane W.
