Welcome aboard, Jamie!
So awesome to hear that you'll be sailing on your very first magical voyage next August. You and your family will have a splashtacular time with Captain Mickey and his crew. There are lots of things to do and it will feel like there is not enough time to do everything. There's a good amount of fun and a whole lot of pampering just waiting to be enjoyed on your Disney Cruise voyage. Your 3-night voyage to the Bahamas will be action packed for sure. Just be warned... it might actually make you want to book your next one while onboard (yes, they offer discounts if you do so!).
The
main Disney Cruise Line website is a treasure chest of information. Once you have your reservation number, you should be able to access the
My OnLine Check-In page to start filling in your personal travel information. As a first time cruiser, your booking window to make reservations for onboard activities and port adventures will open to you 75 days prior to your sail date. So make sure you've got this noted on your calendar, so you can book everything online when the time comes.
From Port Canaveral, you'll be sailing to Nassau to either spend the day out on a port adventure - or you can choose to stay onboard (there are less people onboard to enjoy the ship's amenities). Pirate Night will usually be on the 2nd night, so make sure you've got your pirate gear. The following morning brings you to
Castaway Cay. Then you head back to Port Canaveral the following day. You'll have 1 optional formal or dress up night and the rest is comfy cruise casual attire. There's so many things already included in your cruise. But if you need more info on anything, please come back and ask us. ~ Dolly
