Ahoy, Ashlee!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You and your little buccaneers are going to have the best time sailing on your first Disney Cruise! Disney Cruise Line makes celebrating birthdays at sea so fun! When we celebrated my husband's birthday during one Disney Cruise, I ordered stateroom decorations from the
Gifts and Amenities page on the Disney Cruise Line's website. The decorations were such a surprise for him because our stateroom was "magically" decorated before we even arrived onboard!
Although Disney Cruise Line has a limited number of strollers for Guests to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis, I suggest bringing your own from home. This way, you'll have it from the moment you arrive at the Cruise Terminal to when you're going through U.S. Customs upon your return. Once onboard, you may want to use it while exploring the ship, too! We always sailed with my son's stroller and loved having it.
You'll need to store your stroller and car seats inside your stateroom. I'm not sure which ship you're sailing on, but you'll find that every category of stateroom on each of the four vessels is quite spacious and comfortable! We never had an issue storing my son's stroller within our stateroom. I just want to mention that if you're taking
Disney Cruise Line's Ground Transportation, the motor coach does not accommodate car seats, so they'll need to be stowed under the bus.
Ashlee, I'm sure you are getting so excited as your inaugural sailing with Captain Mickey gets closer!
