Hi Stephanie! Your
Disney Magic cruise sounds like a marvelous way to start the year off right.
At the cruise terminal in
Miami on embarkation day, you will receive your Key to the World Card. Aptly named because that is precisely what it does: it is your key to everything on Disney Cruise Line! It unlocks your individual stateroom door and allows you to make charges to your stateroom account. When getting off the ship, you are required to take this card with you and will need it once you come back to the ship. For these reasons, the Key to the World card is specific to only ONE stateroom.
For the future, one tip to practically make your stateroom access more "synched" as you put it is to book adjoining staterooms so you can leave the door open and access both rooms during your cruise. Adjoining staterooms are clearly designated on the
Disney Magic deck plans, and the objective is to book as early as possible to ensure availability. Or contact a
Disney Cruise Line Vacation Planner to pinpoint the exact adjoining staterooms you would like.
If your reserved staterooms have verandahs, the partition can be removed to create one larger shared balcony. My friends and I did this with our three verandahs on our Disney Dream cruise and felt like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" as we sailed away!
I hope you have the most MAGICal and memorable adventures at sea. Say hi to Captain Mickey for me!
