Going on my first Disney Cruise in January. What time does the characters end meet and greets on the ship?

Hi, Jermaine! As Goofy would say, gawrsh! It’s great to see you at planDisney!

One of the highlights of sailing on a Disney Cruise is meeting your favorite Disney Pals. I remember stopping by the Grand Hall on the Disney Wish one afternoon and having Princess Tiana all to myself. It’s these unplanned moments that make a Disney Cruise so magical.

When you view the Daily Activity Schedule on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app, you can see all the character encounters and the days and times they are around to meet guests. On my last cruise, the characters started meeting guests as early as 8:00 a.m. and kept the fun going until 10:00 p.m.! Unfortunately, Goofy won’t be able to visit your stateroom—but don’t worry—you’ll have lots of chances to say hi and snap some pictures with him.

As your cruise comes to an end, check the app for the final character sendoff in the lobby atrium. It's your last chance to bid farewell to your beloved Disney friends – or, at least, share a heartfelt wave until the next reunion onboard.

I'm wishing you the most magical time on your very first Disney cruise, Jermaine! Here at planDisney, we are happy to help first-time cruisers and seasoned sailors have an unforgettable vacation. Please stop by and see us again.
