We are going on our first disney cruise on Jan 26, 2013 it is the 6 night leaving from TX. I understand that the formal night is the 2nd night. I was wondering if you could have formal dresses that were tank tops for strapless on that night? Thanks

    Hello BreAnna,

I'm so excited to hear that you'll be sailing on a Disney cruise ship for the first time!!!!  I just got back from that itinerary a couple of weeks ago, and it was just amazing!  I'm so jealous:)

Yes, you can wear that type of dress for formal night.  It's not a problem.  I do suggest, though, that you have a wrap or sweater with you in the evenings.  It gets very cool on the ship at night, and I don't want you to be uncomfortable or have to go back to your stateroom just to get a sweater.

I hope this helps.  Have a magical sailing BreAnna, and in the meantime, let me know if I can help with anything else.  Bon voyage!
