When you’re on a Disney Cruise, Guests can book a
placeholder reservation on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. This open-ended reservation provides 24 months to select your next cruise, and you'll save 10% on prevailing rates on most sailings. It's a fantastic way to lock in savings for future Disney adventures.
If you missed the chance to book a placeholder on your last cruise, I recommend exploring the
Special Offers page on the Disney Cruise Line website under Plan a Cruise. At the moment, you can enjoy savings of up to 25% on select sailings. I took advantage of one of these special rates on a cruise out of Fort Lauderdale this past November. Keep in mind that these discounts change frequently, so it's worth checking back regularly. I make it a habit to browse the offers every Monday to catch any new dates or discounts that may have been added.
Once you've booked a cruise and paid your deposit, you have the flexibility to
pay the remaining balance at a pace that suits you. I find making small payments every two weeks when I receive my paycheck more manageable than waiting to pay the entire balance at once. For most stateroom categories, your paid-in-full date is 90 days before departure for cruises lasting one to five nights and 120 days for cruises six nights or longer.
