Going on our first Disney Cruise February 2011 and staying one night at WDW before cruise-can we check in for our cruise at the resort? Also my daughter and I have food allergies-is this something I need to alert the staff to beforehand or onboard?

Hi, Sara! Congratulations on your first cruise aboard a Disney cruise ship! You're wise to sneak in a day early and stay at Walt Disney World (WDW), too. Yet, you can no longer check in for Disney Cruise Line (DCL) at your WDW resort prior to sailing. If you are taking advantage of Disney ground transportation, you will simply check into your resort once you arrive on your first day, and then, affix your DCL tags to your luggage for transportation to Port Canaveral. Once at the terminal, you can check in for your cruise, and your bags will be delivered to your stateroom.

You'll definitely want to make note of your food allergies on the Special Requests page when you book online or with the Cast Member who takes your reservation at 800-951-3532. DCL is happy to accommodate your dining needs.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation! Bon voyage!
