Hi, Jenny!
Thanks for stopping by the Moms Panel! You'll love the Disney Fantasy - it's absolutely breathtaking. The Eastern Caribbean itinerary is fabulous - so much to see and do!
You can absolutely leave your little ones in
It's A Small World Nursery and the
Oceaneer Club/Lab while you enjoy a few hours in the ports. Your children will be safely cared for by well-trained Disney counselors, and entertained with fun activities. Remember that the nursery must be reserved in advance, and comes at an additional charge. Space is limited, so make sure to make your reservations early! Hours may vary while the ship is in Port, so make sure to check your Personal Navigator (a daily schedule delivered to your stateroom) for hours of operation.
On a typical 7-night itinerary, there are several themed nights. Night two is Formal Night, when you put on your best attire for dinner (a great time to take advantage of the onboard photographers)! Night four is Pirate Night, with special themed menus, a swashbuckling deck party and fireworks at sea! Arrgh, make sure to pack your pirate gear! Night six is Semi Formal night, and the Captain's Gala - expect a fabulous dinner menu that evening. Remember, schedules are always subject to change.
Each night, there will be plenty of activities to choose from in the
Adult Nightclubs and Lounges - check your Personal Navigator to see what's happening. There are also lots of options for Family Fun as well!
I hope this helps with your planning - have a magical voyage aboard the Fantasy!
