Hi Kristen!
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to hEAR you will be going on your first Disney Cruise next month and visiting the Walt Disney World Resort before you set sail! What a magical trip you have planned!
As a mom of four children myself, I'm thrilled to assist you with this question. If you'll be able to dedicate a full day at
Magic Kingdom Park, then I would visit a different park on your second day. With so many attractions geared toward younger Guests, I do believe you will need an entire day to fully explore all the iconic park has to offer.
Based on the ages of your children, I recommend visiting
Disney's Animal Kingdom Park on your second day. With exotic animals, amazing shows and classic attractions, your family is in for a "wild time" at this unique park. Although your little one may not be able to experience all of the attractions, there will be so many sights and sounds to take in. My family's list of "must do" experiences includes: Kilimanjaro Safaris, Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain, Avatar Flight of Passage, Na'vi River Journey, DINOSAUR, Festival of the Lion King, Finding Nemo - The Musical, and UP! A Great Bird Adventure.
Be sure to utilize
Rider Switch for any attractions with a minimum height requirement. I also highly recommend using
FastPass+ service to decrease your wait for many of the most popular attractions.
I hope this is helpful. Stop by again with any new questions as you continue to plan a magical "land and sea" vacation!
