Ahoy there, Raina. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with another question for us. I’m so glad we’ve been able to help you plan your Disney vacations over the years!
I’m delighted that you are planning to sail on an upcoming
Disney cruise. Just like at the Disney theme parks, Guests do “Disneybound” on board the Disney ships as well.
Pirate Night is likely the night you will see most Guests dress up in swashbuckling attire, with some people choosing to Disneybound as their favorite Disney pirate. I have seen numerous Jack Sparrow, Redd and Captain Hook lookalikes. On a recent cruise with my extended family, rather than dressing up as your typical pirate for Pirate Night, my sister and my baby nephew went with a Peter Pan theme: she wore a green dress, threw her hair in a cute bun and went to dinner Disneybound as Tinker Bell, while she dressed up my baby nephew as Mr. Smee.
I haven’t sailed on the
Disney Treasure yet, but I have heard great things about The Haunted Mansion Parlor. The other lounges on that ship have wonderful theming as well, such as the Jungle Cruise-inspired Skipper Society and Periscope Pub, which is inspired by 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea: Submarine Voyage. I can see Guests Disneybounding when they enjoy these fun lounges. I can’t wait to experience them myself on an upcoming sailing which sadly, is still many months away! However, this gives me plenty of time to brainstorm and sew outfits for my adult daughter and I to Disneybound when we check out these lounges!
Please swing by
planDisney again if you have more trip-planning questions for us, Raina. We hope to see ya real soon.
Sending you pixie dusts,
Kiki
