We will be going on our first Disney cruise at the end of July. I have booked the Discover Atlantis port excursion in Nassua for us. We have 2 kids 13 and 5. Can they go into the casino with us at Atlantis? What can they do while we go in?

    Hi, Diana!

Congratulations on your cruise this month on the Disney Dream to the Bahamas! The Discover Atlantis Port Adventure is a great way to see that amazing resort and to get a taste of what it has to offer.  Families can enjoy the open-air marine habitat and The Dig as well as shopping and dining.

The casinos at the Atlantis are for adults only, and although you will see families walking through some of the gaming areas at the resort, children are not permitted to stay while parents play. Therefore,  I recommend looking into kids' activities clubs on the resort -- or perhaps one adult can take the kids back to the ship using the shuttle service. You'd then have to catch a taxi to the Atlantis. Return transport runs every half hour from 1:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m., and guests choose their own return time.

I hope that helps you plan. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
