We are going on our first Disney cruise (on the Dream) on 6/26. We are scheduled for the second seating for dinner. My one concern is the Pirate night - we don't want to miss the party, so can we "hurry" through dinner or should we eat elsewhere?

Ahoy, Mary! You will absolutely love cruising on the Disney Dream! The timing for Second Seating in the main dining rooms might work out just right. You will be able to finish dinner, go straight to the Pirates IN the Caribbean Deck Party, and enjoy the Buccaneer Blast fireworks that follow. However, you might want to consider skipping dessert in the main dining room so as to be able to partake of the delicious desserts buffet they serve after the party. Alternatively, if you want to eat dinner earlier you have a few options. For a casual dining experience stop by Cabanas or one of the three quick service eateries at Flo's Café on Deck 11. For an even more laid back option, simply order room service. Alternatively, if you wish to experience upscale dining book either Palo or Remy, but be sure to make reservations ahead of time. Please let me know if I can answer any other questions for you. Have a magical cruise on the fabulous Disney Dream! Bon Voyage!
