Hi there, This will be our first Disney Cruise...going on the Dream 12/22 :4days to the Bahamas with our two daughters,10 & 13..As newbies, didn't know Aquaventure Atlantis would sell out! How can we still take our daughters to the water park in Atlant

    Hi, Terence!

Congratulations on your first Disney Cruise! Warning: Sailing with Mickey is quite addictive! You may just have to look into booking another Disney Cruise when you're on board the Disney Dream in December. They offer great discounts while on board! And did you know the Disney Wonder sails out of Los Angeles to the Mexican Riviera and out of Seattle to Alaska/Canada next year? Hmmmm...gets you thinking, huh?

The Atlantis Aquaventure is one of my favorite Port Adventures in Nassau. Yet, if Disney is currently booked...don't fret.  You still have options.  First off, you can call 800-951-3532 and have your name put on a waiting list. If someone cancels, you can be notified prior to sailing (or even on board) by Guest Services.  Also, you can drop by Guest Services on Embarkation Day to see if there are any openings.  And if you absolutely, positively can't wait to book and want to make sure you experience it -- you simply need to arrange for your own transportation to the resort (by taxi from the port), and you can purchase wristbands/admission to the water park at the resort.

I hope this helps you plan and relieves any worries.  Your daughters are going to have a blast -- my 14-year-old daughter says that they shouldn't miss the Serpent Slide which ends with a (protected) ride through a shark-filled lagoon! Let me know if you think of other questions before you sail. I'd be happy to help.

Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
