We are going on our first Disney Cruise in December 2012, Eastern Caribbean on the Fantasy ship. What will the pool temperatures be like on the ship during this time?

Congratulations, Bambie on your first Disney cruise next year!

I'm traveling to the Eastern Caribbean this December, and I'll be able to provide you with first-hand information after then. However, I have cruised to the Caribbean in January before, and the weather was warm and sunny.  Of course, the unpredictable weather of the winter can keep travelers guessing...so, I would make sure you keep a close tab on temperatures in St. Maarten, and St. John/St. Thomas before you leave home.

Nevertheless, when the temperatures outside drop below 70F degrees, Disney Cruise Line cranks up the heat for the water in the pools.  In fact, we swam in the pools of the Disney Wonder when we sailed to Alaska!  There's nothing like watching the steam rise off the pool and surrounded by glaciers!

I hope this helps you plan.  Let me know if I can answer more questions for you. Have a wonderful day and a magical vacation. Bon voyage!
