Ahoy, Raina! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I must say, a 5-night Baja cruise on the Disney Wonder sounds picture perfect!
I'm glad you sailed over to talk about the
professional photography offered onboard. I SEA photo opportunities everywhere on Disney Cruise Line! From the moment you begin your voyage in the cruise terminal to dinners to character meet and greets, Disney photographers are at the ready to help you document every memory from your cruise. You may even feel a bit like a celebrity with paparazzi following you from all the flashbulbs!
On certain special occasions like when a character pops by to say hello, photos are also made in the Youth Clubs like Oceaneer Club and Oceaneer Lab, but that is not the norm. The vast majority will be the photo opportunities you and your family seek out. One way to stay on top of all the photo opps and
character greetings that will have your family saying "Cheese!" is to check the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. (Alternatively, you will find that information in the Personal Navigator newsletter placed nightly in your stateroom.) Professional photographers will also be around on select nights during dinner and to capture photos at special events like Pirate Night and deck parties.
Here's a money-saving tip that may move you off the fence about purchasing the photo package.
Pre-purchase a photo package online up to two days before you set sail and you'll be able to capitalize on discounted rates.
While onboard, visit
Shutters, the onboard photography shop to view and pick up your cruise pictures. Photos are constantly being uploaded for guests to review. This is one of our family's favorite things to do together and often a laugh-inducing experience!
Cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions as you plan your high seas adventure. Have a WONDERful cruise!
