Ahoy, Stephanie!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on booking your inaugural voyage with Captain Mickey! Before you know it, April will be here and you'll be setting sail on an unforgettable adventure to paradise. There are so many activities to "sea" and do onboard. I love beginning each cruise at the
Sail-Away Celebration on deck!
I'm so excited to hEAR that you're planning on exploring the beautiful Caribbean islands via a Port Adventure through Disney Cruise Line. My family and I love to book excursions for each port of call during our cruises! I'm not sure which excursion you're planning to take, but Disney Cruise Line does encourage Guests to stay with their Port Adventure during all portions of their adventure. Once onboard, I recommend stopping at the
Port Adventures Desk just to double check with a Cast Member about your particular excursion. There are Port Adventures that offer Guests the option to be dropped off in town for more exploration on their own and return to the pier at their own expense! To see if your Port Adventure offers this, take a look at the "Know Before You Go" section online at the bottom of the Port Adventure description.
I love spending time on the beach, so I understand wanting as much beach time as possible! I've been on
Magens Bay Beach Break during our stop in St. Thomas/St. John and had over three hours of fun in the sun! That might be an excursion for you to check out, too! Please sail back with any future questions while planning your first Disney Cruise!
