Hi Marianne!

At this time, U.S. Citizens are allowed to travel this itinerary with a valid Government-issued I.D. and an original or certified copy of your state-issued Birth Certificate. However, Disney Cruise Line strongly recommends traveling with a passport. Government regulations are subject to change at any time. Check out the Passport and Travel Documentation tab in the "My Reservations" section on the
Disney Cruise Line website for the most updated information, and so you can make the best decision for your family before you set sail.
On our first cruise, we traveled with birth certificates and I.D.s. It was a lot of important paperwork to keep up with, and I worried about not having a passport in case of an emergency. We've since gotten passports, and I just rest a little easier when we travel!
For information about obtaining a passport before you sail, you can visit
www.travel.state.gov . I hope this information helps! Wishing you a most magical voyage aboard the beautiful Disney Dream!
