Going on our first DCL trip in 29 days! Question about the beverage station on deck 9. Are there disposable cups, or do you purchase a souvenir mug that you refill? Should we bring something from home? thanks, Karen from NH

    Hi Karen!

There are disposable cups with lids and straws available at the beverage station on deck 9. However, I find these cups to be a bit on the small side considering how far a passenger needs to travel from their cabin to get a refill. At night when I'm ready to relax in my stateroom, I fill up two cups on my last trip to the Beverage Station.

I would recommend bringing your own refillable cup. However, you would need to fill a disposable cup and pour the beverage into your refillable mug due to sanitary concerns. A sign posted near the beverage station reminds passengers to use a fresh cup.

If you have refillable mugs from Walt Disney World, they would be very handy! I also found that the mugs with handles are much easier for to carry, especially for young children.
