hi we are going on our first 7 day western carribean on the magic. we are staying at wilderness lodge and getting Disney transportation to port. I heard you get tickets now for the meet and greets. im worried that there might not be any left when we board.

    Welcome aboard, Melanie!

Spending some time at your Disney Resort for a pre-cruise night stay, then taking Disney Cruise ground transportation to board your Disney Cruise ship is a winning recipe to jumpstart an awesome vacation. You will surely have a magical time.

Our last 2 voyages in the last few months were very similar to yours. We had a leisurely pace on embarkation day, and we were onboard at around 1:30pm. I went straight to the Guest Services desk - since that is where ticket distribution was during that time... and had no issues with getting meet and greet tickets for Elsa and Anna as well as the Princess meet & greet. Then we grabbed lunch - and it was not crowded at all.

You'll get a Personal Navigator once you check-in at the Port, and usually, if there are meet & greet tickets for distribution, you'll be clued in where to go. I think you'll be just fine with timing. You're not getting there late at all, and Disney Cruise always takes into account that there are guests arriving using their own ground transportation, so everyone on board will be expecting you.

    Have an awesome vacation, Melanie!
