OUR FIRST DAY WDW ON 4-26 WE JUST PLAN ON GOING TO DOWNTOWN DISNEY TO END OUR NIGHT WITH OUR KIDS WE WOULD ENJOY FIREWORKS, IS THERE ANY PLACE TO SEE FIREWORKS BESIDES THE PARK ITSELF STAYING AT ASMOVIE AND COULD WE GET THERE FROM DTD, THANX AGAIN !!

    Hi Melissa,

Yes, you can see Wishes, the fireworks display at the Magic Kingdom from any of the beaches at the resorts on the monorail line.  From Downtown Disney, take a resort bus to either the Contemporary, Grand Floridian or Polynesian.  The beaches are open to the public and are a great, less-crowded option for seeing the fireworks.  After the show, simply take the monorail back to the Magic Kingdom, and then catch the bus to All Star Movie Resort.  If you watch the show from the Contemporary, you can actually walk over to the Magic Kingdom (it's about a 5-7 minute walk) via the "walkway to the Magic Kingdom."

    Have a great vacation!
