our first day at WDW has 2 appts. First we have Chef Mickeys at the contemporary at 11:20, then we go to Pirates of the Carribean for a Mermaid makeover at 1:20. We are staying outside Disney. Where should we park at MK and is this enough time to do both

    Hey, Nancy!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Mom's Panel! I am so excited for you and your family as magic and adventure are what Disney does best.

You do not need to stress like White Rabbit from Alice in Wonderland because you have plenty of time. I would park at the Transportation and Ticket Center. This is the parking lot for Magic Kingdom Park. Take the Resort Monorail to Disney's Contemporary Resort to have Mickey and gang whip you up some delicious treats. Make sure to have your smiles and autograph books ready for individual time with Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto and Donald (characters subject to change). Your meal should last about 60 minutes.

After the meal, you may either hop back on the "highway in the sky" Disney's Monorail Service or take the enjoyable walking path from Disney's Contemporary Resort to the entrance of Magic Kingdom Park. We love the path as it helps us walk off some of our meal.

The Pirates League is connected to the Pirate of the Caribbean attraction in Adventureland and is about 12 minutes from the park entrance. I know your princess can't wait to be transformed into a beautiful mermaid.

Disney Dad Tip: We bring a permanent marker and autograph book for signatures from our Disney friends. The thicker marker is great for their hands.

Nancy, enjoy making many delicious and Magical Memories.
