On first day of our trip do we have to go to our resort first to check in to have our bands activated? Or can we go straight to the parks that morning if I pre-check in? Would really like to just go straight to park for 8:05 breakfast resv w/ dining plan.

    Hi there Brandi,

Unfortunately, even online check in, though super convenient, requires you to check in at the resort in person.  Your Magic Bands will need to be activated at check in prior to use and you'll also need to setup a pin in order to use your Magic Band for purchases and Dining Plan entitlements.  Is it possible that you'll have time to swing by your resort before heading to Breakfast?  Checking in should only take a few moments, especially since you opted to take advantage of online check in and also because it will be so early in the morning.

Your room is not likely to be ready so early, so you won't need to worry about having your luggage delivered, etc.  Simply store your belongings with Bell Services at your resort, complete the check in process and BaBAM!  It's off to breakfast you go!

Thanks so much for the great question, and please feel free to follow up with me if you think of any more!  I am here to help!

    Best Wishes,
