Our first day in the park, specifically Magic Kingdom, will be Thursday Feb. 2. Are we able to grab a coffee and breakfast sandwich and shop a little before the opening cerimony on Main Street before the park actiallly open? Possible?

Hi Kathryn, and welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I have to say, your upcoming plans for enjoying a light breakfast and browsing the shops along Main Street, U.S.A. before the Magic Kingdom Park's official opening ceremonies begin sound divine!

Earlier this month, new park opening procedures debuted at Magic Kingdom Park, which now allow Guests to enter Main Street, U.S.A. approximately one hour before Park opening. Many of the shops and services along Main Street, U.S.A. will be open for Guests, including the Main Street Bakery, where you will most certainly be able to purchase a breakfast sandwich and Starbucks Coffee before starting your day.

Be sure to leave plenty of time to make your way to the end of Main Street, just in front of Cinderella Castle, if you want to watch the new Let the Magic Begin opening ceremonies on the Castle Forecourt Stage. The show kicks off approximately 5 minutes before Park opening each day, with Mickey and the gang taking to the stage to officially welcome Guests and open the Park for the day.

I hope you enjoy this new and leisurely way to start your day at Magic Kingdom Park. Wishing you a most wonderful upcoming vacation at the place where the Magic is Endless!
