Ahoy, Barbara!
Welcome aboard the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Congratulations on booking your first voyage with Captain Mickey! You're going to have such a DREAM-y cruise! I love that you'll be traveling with 11 people! We recently set sail on a Disney Cruise with a total of nine family members and had the best time. I looked forward to sitting with my family each evening at dinner, and sharing stories of all the adventures from the day. Those are memories I'll cherish forever.
One of my favorite things to do is watch the Broadway-style shows and live entertainment offered throughout our cruise! You will not need to book reservations to the live shows and entertainment offered each evening in the
Walt Disney Theatre. The live productions are offered twice each evening to accommodate the
dining schedules. So, if your family will be enjoying dinner in the Main Seating each night, you will attend the second performance. If you and your pirate crew have chosen Second Seating for dinner, you will get to see the first performance!
The doors to the Walt Disney Theatre typically open about 30 minutes prior to the start of the show. I recommend arriving at least 15 minutes early since you have a large party and will likely want to sit together! You will find a description of each evening's performance as well as the start time in your Personal Navigator newsletter or on the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app. (If you haven't done so already, I recommend downloading the app to your smartphone so it's ready to use as soon as you board the ship!)
Barbara, I can't wait for you to experience all the magic that awaits you onboard your Disney Cruise! If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us again!
