    What is the first date of the Christmas party? I am staying 8 nights but want to do the Halloween and Christmas parties

    Welcome, Mecca! You sure know how to party (and vacation)! Two of my favorite events at the Walt Disney World Resort are Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! These special-ticketed events at Magic Kingdom Park are a great way to celebrate two of the most exciting holidays of the year!

    The parties for 2024 are several months away from being announced, however, we can use the past to predict the future! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party usually begins in mid-August and lasts until either October 31 or November 1. Then Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party usually begins around November 8 or 9 and lasts through December 22. So, if you want to experience both during one vacation, your best planning strategy would be to catch one of the last Halloween parties and one of the first Christmas parties.

    Halloween party dates are usually announced in the spring (April) and Christmas party dates are usually announced in late June/early July. Keep checking the Walt Disney World Resort website as well as the Disney Parks Blog for updates! These will be two of the most reliable sources to announce the party season news once Mickey is ready to share his big plans for the holidays!
