We are going on our first cruise and spending a few days in Florida first. I have to take a car seat for my little guy but we are returning the rental car and shuttling to the port so I don't know what to do with it while on the ship. Help!?

    Ahoy, Mariah!

A first time Disney cruise in less than a month? Hip hip hooray! This makes my heart sing with excitement. I know you must be eagerly counting down the days until your vacation begins! Get ready to have fun with all the magic included and make memories with your family.

I’d suggest simply checking the car seat along with your luggage with bell services and they will deliver it to your stateroom later in the day. One of the genius design elements of the staterooms on Disney Cruise Line is the storage space. I’m thinking that the space under the desk or in one of the two closets will make prime storage spots for that car seat. Luggage fits perfectly under the bed, but I highly doubt that the 12 inch clearance would work for a car seat.

Traveling with little Mouseketeers always involves more gear, doesn't it? Disney Cruise Line helps lighten your load by providing bed rails, pack and plays, and strollers. These are all available on a first-come, first-served basis, and requests can be made to your stateroom host/hostess or Guest Services.

Mariah, I hope these details help you get ready to set sail with Captain Mickey and his crew. Cruise back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you need any help as you plan your adventure at sea.

    Happy Sailing!
