We are going on our first cruise in November. We have Palo booked for our last night there. We are in the second seating for rotating dining. My question is, will we still get to go to all 3 rotations? Does the Palo reservation interfere with the rotation?

    Hi there, Jessica!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and YAY for going on your FIRST Disney Cruise Line vacation!  I am so excited for you and the incredible adventure you will have with Captain Mickey!  I hope you are ready for a DREAM vacation because that is exactly what awaits you onboard – nonstop activities, amazing entertainment and sun-filled days... you are going to have the BEST time while making long lasting memories!

I am so glad to hEAR you have made reservations at Palo for an adult-exclusive dining experience!  My husband and I always look forward to our “date night” onboard and making that reservation is often top priority when our onboard booking window opens!  During your four-night voyage, you will visit all three dining rooms once and one of them twice.  This will give you the opportunity to experience all three restaurants’ exclusive menus and one night will be a pirate-themed menu complete with delicious Johnnycake.  While always subject to change, Pirate Night is currently scheduled for Night Three during your voyage.

Jessica, if you do want to experience all the main dining rooms, then my suggestion would be to make your reservation at Palo for earlier (like 6PM).  Then, you can dine at Palo and then go to the main dining room, if you choose to!  Although after a delicious dinner at Palo, you may not be able to eat another bite…but it is an option that is worth considering!  While we typically have the first dinner seating at the main dining rooms, we will often take our boys to eat at the restaurant and then go to Palo afterwards…that way the boys get to dine in the main room, and we get to have our night too.  Please note that Palo does have a dress code that they require Guests adhere to when dining in their restaurant, and you definitely don’t want to be turned away from your reservation…and the dreamy souffle dessert!

    Happy Sailing!
