Ahoy, James!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Setting sail aboard Disney Cruise Line will be the BEST way to celebrate all of these incredible milestones! I got chills reading about this being your first Disney Cruise as a family of three. I'm adopted, too! Even all these years later, my parents and I still celebrate my "Homecoming Day." We've actually celebrated a few with Captain Mickey!
I love so many things about cruising with Disney. One of my favorite things to do during any Disney Cruise is eat!
Disney Cruise Line's rotational dining is amazing! Each evening, you will rotate to one of the three Main Dining restaurants aboard the Disney Dream. Not only will you rotate to the restaurant, but your Server and Assistant Server will rotate along with you! Because they will travel with you each night of your voyage, they'll get to learn your family's likes and dislikes all while making your dining experience magical. By the end of our cruises, our Serving Team becomes a part of our family! You will not need to make advance reservations to any of the Main Dining restaurants. Your rotation will be assigned to you and noted on your "Key to the World" card.
Your "Key to the World" card will be given to you at the Cruise Terminal when you check in on embarkation day and act as your identification, charge card and stateroom key while onboard! Since this will be your first cruise, I recommend purchasing a lanyard with a plastic card holder attached in order to wear your "Key to the World" card around the ship. They will sell them at the gift shops onboard! Once you've concluded this cruise, you'll be a Castaway Club Member and receive a Castaway Club lanyard for your "Key to the World" card when checking in to every future voyage!
James, I'm wishing you a Disney Cruise filled with unforgettable memories!
